Letter to prospective parents

Thank you and congratulations on your interest in New Jerusalem Academy, one of the most important choices you will make in the spiritual growth of your child! At New Jerusalem Academy, our highest priority is to help accelerate the spiritual and academic progression of our students as much as possible, according to the desires of each individual child and family. But we do not stop there. It is our sincere desire that all who come in contact with our school will feel a desire to accelerate spiritual and academic progression as well. As an Admissions Office, we understand the importance and significance of the decision you have in deciding where your student will attend school. Whether you are a first-time parent deciding on a Kindergarten for your child, a family seeking to enroll multiple children in our school, whether you are local or relocating, we are here to serve you and help you through the “information gathering” process and to later assist you through the Admissions process if you choose to apply to NJA.

NJA’s educational process and commitment, both in and out of the classroom, is directed to the development of Christian students to enable them to translate the different facets of their educational experience into living as a Disciple of Jesus Christ. As a school based on values and theology of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, New Jerusalem Academy believes in providing a learning environment where faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel are supported and we believe in cultivating a lifelong attitude of learning. It is our desire to assist parents in their sacred duty to teach their children to walk in the ways of the Lord. We aim to be an extension of the home in the development of students spiritually, academically, physically and socially so that they will think from a Christian worldview and excel in following God’s plan and purpose for their lives.
